This is my fourth year here at BGM. Up until now I was strictly Family and Consumer Sciences, this year I added Junior High Reading to my teaching responsibilities.

    My family and I live here in Brooklyn, my husband teaches Elementary Music and is the Technology Consultant here. My son is a freshman and my daughter is in seventh grade.

    I'm originally from a small town called Delevan, NY, located about 40 miles So. of Buffalo.  I first came to Iowa to attend William Penn College located in Oskaloosa.  I graduated with a Teaching Certificate in Home Economics Education. 

   After graduation I returned to New York and taught Home Economics for four years while earning a Master's Degree in Reading from St. Bonaventure University.

  Since moving back to Iowa I have substituted in several schools and most recently taught at Andrew Community School.
